NAPLES, CAPITAL OF THE MEDITERRANEAN: MED CONFERENCE KICKS OFF
From 15 to 17 October, Naples hosts the 11th edition of the MED Dialogue on the Mediterranean Conference, the main public diplomacy initiative promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ISPI. This year, the event will be held exceptionally in the Neapolitan capital thanks to the collaboration with the National Committee Neapolis 2500, which strongly supported the choice of Naples as the venue, in celebration of the city’s 2,500th anniversary.
The conference brings together political leaders, international experts, representatives of multilateral organizations, and civil society actors to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the broader Mediterranean region, at a historic moment marked by profound geopolitical changes.

Within the conference framework, the National Committee Neapolis 2500 highlights four key events that reflect the city’s vocation for dialogue, cooperation, and the creation of shared visions across the Mediterranean.

GEOPOLITICS AND GEOECONOMICS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN: MEETING WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES
This session will focus on the role of local enterprises in the geopolitical and geoeconomic context of the Mediterranean, fostering a discussion between institutional and business actors. The event aims to provide a space for reflection on how to turn challenges into levers for growth and strategic repositioning.
